M.S.C.T.D.C. has been established in the year 1972 for the economic development of Tribals in Maharashtra State as per the Provision in Indian Constitution's Article 46.
Main Purpose :
To work as an effective implementing agency of the State Government to extend welfare to tribals in the State of Maharashtra.
Major Objectives : To act as an effective agency to prevent economic exploitation of tribal farmers, artisans &
labours. To promote the economic development of tribals by implementing the direct assistance schemes.
