Main Purpose :
To work as an effective implementing agency of the State Government to extend welfare to tribals in the State of Maharashtra. |

Major Objectives :
To act as an effective agency to prevent economic exploitation of tribal farmers, artisans &
labours. To promote the economic development of tribals by implementing the direct assistance schemes.
